Pre-Inquest into Carole Myers / Carol Felstead’s Death – 26 March 2015

Pre-Inquest into Carole Myers / Carol Felstead’s Death – 26 March 2015

The pre-inquest took place on Thursday, 26 March, as planned in the Royal Courts of Justice, London. Kevin Felstead represented the family in court. A number of topics were discussed, some of which were very contentious. It was decided that the Metropolitan Police Incident Management Log, the Crime Scene Log, and the Evidence and Actions Book would be released to us. Witness statements, plus photographs of the death scene will also be supplied. All in all, a number of significant objectives were attained. The Coroner said that depending how the inquiry developed there may be a need for a further pre-inquest. The original inquest date of 10 June is therefore still operative, though circumstances may change it if necessary.

On Monday, 30 March we received copies of the police files listed above. I think it is fair to say these contain some quite remarkable revelations.
